Why the resume editor shipped first
Search, tailor, and apply only work if a resume can actually go out. Offerfy started with an editor and ATS parseability — not a fake full loop.
The loop is not the first product
Offerfy is meant to cover search, tailor, apply, and tracking. That loop is the point. It is also not what you can use today.
A job engine that cannot produce a resume you would send is theater. So the first slice is the master resume: create or upload, edit in Typst, preview, export a PDF, and check whether that PDF is parseable.
What “ATS” means here
It means parseability of the compiled PDF. Can a machine read the file you will attach? It is not a hireability grade, not a Fortune 500 score, and not a promise that a recruiter will reply.
Why this order
You can write a resume without a job search. You cannot apply well without a resume. Starting at apply would hide that gap behind a waitlist and a diagram.
