Who we are

Offerfy operates the website at https://offerfy.cc. These pages list the product name only; there is no separate company legal name here. Contact us at james@offerfy.cc.

The service

Offerfy is a web resume editor. You can create a resume from a starter template or upload a file, edit Typst source, preview a live compile, export a PDF, and check whether that compiled PDF can be parsed by applicant tracking systems (ATS).

ATS checks parseability of the compiled PDF only. They do not predict hireability or job outcomes.

You may use the editor without an account. Signing in with Google saves your resume history.

Search, tailor-to-a-job, apply, and tracking are not part of the current service.

Accounts

If you use Offerfy without signing in, we set an offerfy_guest cookie so an anonymous session can own your resumes.

If you sign in with Google, we request the openid, email, and profile scopes. We store your Google subject identifier and email so we can keep you signed in and attach resumes to your account.

Your content

You retain rights in the resumes, uploads, and chat messages you provide.

You grant Offerfy a license to host that content, compile it, generate previews and PDFs, run ATS parseability checks, and — only when you use chat — send relevant content to our language-model provider so we can operate the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your resume and for having the right to upload any file you provide.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service, upload malware, attempt to disrupt or overload it, scrape it in a way that harms availability, or use it to process personal data you have no right to process.

AI

Chat is optional. You can edit Typst without ever opening chat.

Model output can be wrong or incomplete. You must review any AI-edited resume before you use it.

Guest use is rate-limited to 10 chat turns and 20 PDF exports per hour.

Availability

Offerfy is provided as-is. Phase 1 is an early product. We do not promise uptime, backups, or that features will remain unchanged.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Offerfy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Phase 1 is provided without charge, so that amount is currently zero.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. Those limits apply only to the extent the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the latest version. If you keep using Offerfy after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
